Sarah-Jane Dunford

The Safety Academy of Australia

Sarah-Jane Dunford is the founder of the Hunter Safety Awards. She has advised senior leaders for over 20 years in multinational organisations on topics of safety and innovation and has extensive experience in workplace health and safety.
Sarah-Jane is the author of Tech Tech Boom: Safety and the Demise of the Worker.  She is a featured speaker on topics of innovation and safety and has delivered keynote addresses for industries groups around Australia.

As the Director of Riskology and The Safety Academy of Australia, she donates 10% of all earnings as pro bono work and in 2016 joined the Women in Safety Committee as Deputy Chairperson at the SIA.

Prior to joining Riskology, Sarah-Jane was a senior safety manager with Subaru and Coca Cola Amatil.  Sarah-Jane received an MBA in Industrial Relations from Charles Sturt and a Masters OHS from Newcastle University.
